Amazing effect that rain has - no gardening time so lots of Gimping time. Here is a cartoon style portrait of a lady in a sari (which was the prime challenge for me).

I've been working for quite a while on this portrait of one of the heroes from my youth – Bobby Charlton, (now Sir Bobby). He was a Manchester United footballer, played for England, was widely considered as one of the greatest players of all time and he was a member of the England team that won the 1966 World Cup.

Another of my sporting heroes from the 60s, Sir Garfield (Gary) Sobers. Probably the best all round cricketer ever in my opinion.

Here is my portrait of another Aussie cricketer, Amanda-Jade Wellington, who, along with others these days plies her trade on the international circuit with the regional based T20 leagues. She has just won the Caribbean Premier League title with the Barbados team.
