Thanks David. In my try I wanted to intensify yello colour of the flower by applying darkness to the selves and a bit of blur,
Also I cut part of the photo to center the focus on the flower.

A beautiful result! You achieved exactly what you intended - bringing out the yellow of the flower, darkening the background while emphasising the gloss of the leaves without distracting from the flower.

My try on the BMW. I have brightened the darkest parts and emphasised the reflections. I would like to separate the bike from the background, but that is as difficult as separating hair from a background! I thought of creating a vignette effect using the glass ripple, but have been unable to find the plug-in.
