I'm a linux user so maybe another windows user will tell uou if it's OK :)

I'm a windows user. I checked out the site and there are so many files. I wouldn't know which file to choose since I use 64Bit on my laptop.

The required file libffi-7.dll was replaced (approximately 1.5 years ago) by libffi-8.dll.
Unpack to Gimp/bin directory.

Edit: The attachment has been moved to the post #266

Thanks MareroQ. Where is the bin directory? The site: https://www.dllme.com/dll/files/libffi-7
said place it in the Windows/System32 folder. That's where I placed the libffi-7.dll.

Beautify is an old plugin and requires old dll dependencies to be satisfied.
You need an even older version of libgobject-2.0-0.dll - but a new version with this name already exists, so you need to place this file in the plug-ins directory (not bin).
libffi-7 and old libgobject-2.0-0.dll in zip.

@mackenzieh
Location c:\Windows\System32\libffi-7.dll doesn't work for me.

Hi,
One of the problems I have constantly had since using Gimp is that plugins and scripts do not work in Gimp. Old or new, we need to find a radical solution to this, it's getting boring.
Thank you,

Keep in mind Gimp is ported to closed-source operating systems like win and mac but developed on open-source. There are still problems in the Linux world with python2 long gone in Ubuntu. I've found geniuses develop and move on to brighter ideas or bigger pay days.

For videos I use mandelbulber which is developed between poland and new zealand. racer-x introduced me to aviutil which is japanese 32bit and the hardest software to understand but the only thing I've found that makes explosions. Exploding things on a screen is a lot more ethical than blowing-up somebody's neighborhood because you disagree with them :)

BTW the "Beautify" plugin let a lot og images "hidden" in the background, why? > https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Batch ... 1#pid37591
Thanks to Ofnuts to have opened my eyes about scripts not cleaning images they did made in the background while running.
