These themes do not work. I've tried them many times on my machine and they throw an error.

If you want to try out one of Pocholo's themes from the dropbox collection it might go like this.

I didn't get any of what you showed in your video. The themes that Pocholo has give me an error when I to change the theme within gimp. From your video it seems that each gtk-2.0 folder with in Pocholo's theme pack has to be renamed in order for the themes to work.

I understand rich2005 Your video explanation is very nice, congratulations.

I've already included one of the themes Wallace posted here. Thanks

mackenzieh - renaming didn't help me. So I just went with one and left as it is. I tried renaming one and got an error message

You should watch the video carefully. You may be missing a detail. Please try again.

I had the same error message thismorning when I went to turn Gimp on. Gimp wouldn't come on until I removed the one theme that was the last thing I added to it. Was ok yesterday, came back on after turning it off but not today.

My Gimp theme has been working fine since I downloaded it. I think the problem is different

I did watch the video (as blurry as it is) and in the video, the gtk-2.0 folders are renamed in order for them to work. When I go into GIMP and try to change the theme through Edit>Preferences>Theme, and choose a theme, I get this:

EDIT: I finally got all of the themes to work without the theme selector... all except four. Those themes are: Mint-Ocean, Wood Mint, T-ish Brushed & T-ish Brushed Aqua Style . They shut gimp down when the themes try to load.
