One of the old threads from trandoductin/quietreader has re-opened in the last couple of days featuring the 'paint paths in steps' plugin. I am trying to remember how to use it as its at least four years ago since I did use it and mostly on Gimp Learn. In those days quite a number of GC/GL members were into making GIFS.

Anyway, I am struggling to work it out now so went into my GIF archive and found this (amongst others) - I do not believe I have posted it here previously.

Continuing the retro theme, here is my image of an early 60s colour TV.

Television without remote control with an antenna on the roof, and only a few channels to be received.
But already in color, not black and white.
If that seems familiar to you, you're no longer among the young (including me ).

Wow. you must have had an up todate TV. We didn't get colour till the late 70's/80's

Speaking about it, my daddy orienting the rake receiver antenna, and us shouting "STOP..." or "go back where you were" where few millimeters made all the difference, spending an hour just for few millimeters orientation

Not sure if this subject has been explored here before (think it has), but I was experimenting using BRL with non spherical e-maps. I used a perforated cylinder as below and was surprised at the excellent results.

More focus on BRL; here is a silver pendant featuring Aussie gum leaves and gum nuts with some circular filigree decoration.

We've had gum leaves, now for roses.
