We are doing our best as moderators to address these major spam attacks - here it is 05.30 and I have just deleted all the spam you showed in your post. It has been happening for a about a week now.

Shouldn't it be the owner's ( Omega's) duty to do something against this?
The admins do a good job already.

Make it where every thread with the word "coupon" and "temu" is automatically put in a spam que for review. Better yet just make those keywords unpostable titles.

"coupon" maybe not, " temu " definitively, having 3 "$" sign in the first or second opened thread post could trigger a lock (for the new members registered the very same hour)...
But there are other solutions as well, like a new registered member could not open 1 thread per 5 minutes (all the spams are just copy/paste their spam and open a thread per minute), if detected the first hour after registered immediately lock that user and don't show the threads that spammer created, until a modo have a look at it to valid or invalid, also the length of the text, I mean who will post 10 000 words on a forum, especially a new registered member  counting half of the words of the latest spam send per a threads would largely be enough to detect a spammer (maybe add a condition for the text between the tags ['code]['/code], spammer won't use that)

Thanks for all the concern,
we're doing what we can.
The site owner has been messaged about the recent events.

Thanks for the ideas contrast and Patrice, but I'm sure Omega would have to implement anything.

I'm and not sure about the others but I had a few spammers that I deleted that joined a minute after each other too. They must have had everything copy and pasted because they were so quick!

There are definitely enough Mods taking care of things here. The trick is to catch it quickly Wallace caught this quickly and my kudos to him and the rest of the team. Great job folks!
Take that TEMU! LOL

Gnutux had a pretty decent entry system set up for new members to assure they were not bots. Is that still in place?

What Gnutux originally setup still remains.

I'm looking into it.

Well, one solution is to turn on post moderation for newly registered users.

Another possible solution would be to hide posts that have been reported (on the main page) same logic as when the post is reported and you report it it says this post has already been reported. This way it won't be visible to other users until mods have a chance to look at them. This way every member is potentially an eye for cleanliness before mods have to to even deal with it.
Copy existing query logics when user reports and work that into the query that returns rows on main page.

The only problem here is that this is beyond what mere admins/ moderators can do.

Looks like we need Omega's help again!
