I have to sit in a sexual abuse seminar all day today and all day next Thursday. It doesn't apply to my area of teaching and sitting in a room full of women who consider most males as evil neanderthals isn't appealing. But my wife said we would go so I'm committed. I should be committed.

It was a tiny room, maybe 10 x 15, with 12 people in it so I had to participate. But it was good that I did anyway, I'll go back for part 2 next week. Two magic words..... free food. But seriously, the information will be good to have even if i don't teach that class.

Yeah; still haven't broke down to sell clothes, flip burgers, cut grass (except my own; lol), or do physical therapy (not license; don't want to get yet another degree; lol) yet. Definitely miss being and Engineer (at least the pay; lol), and also miss computer repair (though lack of pay; better then none at all). Contract work is pretty much zero now. No local jobs of any consequence in my area and I still have to take care of my Dad, so I'm here for now. Not starving and do have a roof over my head so lucky in that regard, but my brains becoming mush. Maybe things will get better soon, but I doubt it (and won't mention here why).

You also have to consider that I have to sit in a small room with 14 women, no other males, and talk about sex, mainly how men are the bad guys. Fortunately I know all of them and they know me and they're not victims, but the teachers. Ironically the only one that it seems to apply to directly is me and I didn't know it when I went into this.
But there is the cake, which makes everything right. Cake always does.
