Hi! i need good tutorial for sci-fi and industrial textures.why? i use Blender 3d v2.49b,to make spaceships,machines and many more 3d objects.there is sci-fi/industrial texture packages but they are commercial and quite expensive...
so can you help me? :tyspin
ps. i put here one example picture,to show my works

Doesn't matter post the link and we may see how to adapt

PS i love create textures but i don't know much 3D sw so i am not sure how they use and so what kind of texture is adapt
I know are tons of textures around
..and that is really addictive create textures

this http://9tutorials.com/2007/09/12/dirty-texture.html apparently doesn't need to be adapted, the same tool are in gimp

(the Gimp lighting filter has a very crappy preview, but is till usable )

same for http://www.psionic3d.co.uk/tutorials/shiphull.html

i didn't read yet the first even if look cool...

Cool render!! Reminds me of some of the graphics in my favorite "vidya" game, Freespace ..now open source!!

There are several good total conversions out there too, including the Babylon Project. You might be interested in checking out some of the 3D models on this page. They're cool.

Best 3D space combat simulator ever made, bar none. :mrgreen:

And it runs great in Linux too. :jumpclap
