A couple of weeks ago I made
this page:

It gives you random plaid pattern.

Yesterday I thought to make it based on a random seed so that people can share/save the seed to be used again later to get the same pattern for that seed value without having to download the image/pattern.

If you click link above pattern to get a new pattern it'll change the seed to value between 0 and 4,999,999 inclusively. So 5 million possible seeds. I tried manually entering 10 million as a seed value and it didn't break so I am guessing it has no limit or probably will loop around at some huge number (not sure I am just guessing since I don't know exact max value if there is even one in the random seed javascript library).

Anyways today I also added the page's ability to set the plaid pattern as the background (repeated seamlessly) so users can get a GOOD FEEL of the pattern before deciding to use it.

https://plaid-patterns.com/balanced-random-plaid.html : balanced plaid patterns (horizontal and verticals are the same) so symmetry in 2 directions.

https://plaid-patterns.com/asymetric-random-plaid.html : asymmetric plaid patterns (horizontal and verticals are not the same) so no symmetry

These 2 pages are different from the default random page as the default is symmetric in all 4 directions

I really liked how the plaid site saved as vector. Can you save the other plaid images as svg instead of png?

other images are just for fun 1024, there's probably a way but it's probably way more work than i want to do. since my source images are png 1024x1024.

One doodle = 5 million possible variations (based on random seeded values). More if you count the ability of users entering their own seed values (which don't have to be numeric).
