PC and i have much history together. Working together to make GIMP packages work for everyone. Even packages that were NEW.
Like Gimp Painter. He made a HUGE impact on GIMP and i just wanted to make sure his legacy lived on.
He contributed to GIMP like no one else. He loved the concept of Open Source. As do i.

A drink and a toast to you PC, my friend! Wherever you may reside. God speed and i will see you in Gimpland. :) :bigthup
He is probably kayaking down a river someplace discovering things. Probably fractals that no-one has ever discovered. :hi5

PhotoComix also contributed filters to MathMap, he was talented and passionate. I joined after he went missing. I don't think he will ever come back.
Also MathMap was coded by an entire team in c with some advanced techniques. That team no longer exists and it's too hard to port to GTK3 and Gimp3.

PhotoComix
was a big inspiration to me in my early days here on GC and still is today.
I have many of PC's scripts and plugins within my collection.

Miss him too, Rod; had lots of exchanges with him, both public and PMs. Not sure what happened to him; last I remember any exchange with him he was going to visit Africa if my memory recalls and then he just vanished.

Thank you Rod for opening this thread.
A beautiful and heartfelt tribute of gratitude to one of our Gimp teachers. I join you in this message.

Don’t be afraid to start over. It’s a new chance to rebuild what you want.

Yes, but it's funny most of them are still in 'Testing' after 15 or 16 years?

G'MIC is a great graphics app. I love using it from the command line on hundreds of files at once :)
