On a role since my return from holidays - a collection of sketch portraits.

Issabella · **Posted:** Wed Jul 15, 2026 9:54 am **(#524)**

OMG, like usual your art is great. So many fine details in each one you create. :clap

Thanks Issa - hope you enjoyed your holiday.

Some more experimentation with an abstract portrait.

sallyanne · **Posted:** Thu Jul 16, 2026 3:47 am **(#527)**

Just brilliant OMG. Welcome home!

Sallyanne - thank you.

More experimentation; this time I used absolutely minimal brush work. This one has been created using just paths and the BRL filter, with internal selection of 'FG to BG RGB gradient' to provide the source of the created emap.

You've done a magnificent job adding volume to the right areas.
A great challenge using hardly any brushes. :clap

OMG #523
Not easy to show different expressions on one's face, and yet I see them...
Well done! :clap

Issabella and Ella - thank you both for your kind comments.

That's an interesting image,
which is oddly satisfying to look at!
I really like the abstract face concept.
I might have to try something like this myself.

Wow! OMG, this style is great and you are really good at to get the best look. Please, more :clap

Tas, Sallyanne, Wallace and Issabella - thank you all for your comments.

Issa - you asked for more, well here is more but different :hehe

trandoductin · **Posted:** Fri Jul 31, 2026 8:48 pm **(#537)**

This one felt like native art to me. Nice work!

oldmangrumpy · **Posted:** Sun Aug 02, 2026 4:13 am **(#538)**

trandoductin - thank you.

More for Issa, but experimental and different again.

It's always so gratifying to see your creations, OMG. Other style transmiting art. I like it a lot, too. :clap

Issabella - thank you; here is another one inspired by/based on an image on the net.
