Really cool stuff, Tran; you already know I like seamless textures and tessellations. Digging the digital mache feature as well. Been requesting something like this to map Single line fills into a target object like this but haven't had any takers in G'MIC. lol

:)

Isabella: cool faces :D
Lylejk: You could probably get ChatGPT to write you js/html that lets you choose single line image or tell it what you want as single line interface is totally up to how you want and ask it to let you upload a model and it'll fill it for you.

I don't understand this exactly. do you mean map a single line? wouldn't that be 1 color? and to an object like 3d obj file?

Sorry for the bit late response Trans (work fulltime on weekends and today's my one day weekend. lol)

Anyway, below's an article concerning what I was looking for. :)

Probably why I've yet seen any takers, Tran. lol

Guess I have no choice but to stick with the traveling salesman approach. :)

do you want hubert curve too? like for different gray scales? just like the sample shown? I can try shooting or explaining to ChatGPT and see if i can come up with something.

Ok I thought I'd give ChatGPT a shot.
I prompted the first time, it just gave me Hilbert tiles all broken not continuous. look like pixels or different tiled.

Then I said I wanted one continuous curve. It tried again and gave something that looked random like travelling salesman feel.

I then screen captured it and uploaded it and said that it looks like TSP and it agreed and came up with this version: https://yourquietfriend.blogspot.com/20 ... maker.html

example output (I just chose your signature image, I didn't convert to gray scale or anything since that's what I told ChatGPT to do for me too :)) :Image

This is kinda cool that it's one line because (Well I guess I couldve asked chatgpt to make the starting point and ending point to connect with border image, here I found them and just made them connect with image border and filled with red).
