Thought i would share some recent photos with you guys from our camping trip and also some of our new kitten Wayne.(Or his wrestling name Lil-Black-Sambo) :)

Grand Haven Lighthouse

Our new kitten Wayne checking out the Piranha tank.

Wayne trying to catch the Piranha

Image

This is a 75 gallon tank so you can see Wolverine (the Piranha), is getting quite large now.

Image

I think Wayne has decided the dogs bone is his now. :)

Image

These turkeys decided to put on a play for us :lol
I couldn't believe they actually stood there and let me take this picture!

Image

I tried to get a nice big shot of our entire camp area.

Image
A Katydid breaking out of it's shell. There were so many of these on the trunks of the pine trees all around us i couldn't count them all.

Image

Tried to get another shot of the Katydid drying it's wings out for first flight!

Image

A beautiful sunset over the camp.

Image

A little better photo of our cabin. My son Cole on the front porch.

Image

The Bass that didn't get away. :)

Image

Wayne gets 2 points for a take down (on our dog KiKi)
Remember Wayne is just a 14 week old kitten so that gives you a pretty good idea of KiKi's size. :lol
Kittys playtoy now!Hence the nickname "Lil Black Sambo" :)

Image

And last but not least our dog Zues disguised in his lion suit. :)
Boy he hated that haircut :lol

Well that isn't all of them but a few of the better ones.I had taken 253 in all maybe i will post more later.
Thanks for checking them out!

Your cat Wayne looks a lot like my Dad's boy (he passed away this past March). Dad's cat though was a long hair. Really like the fish tank and cat capture by the way Rod. lol

He is in it all by himself so i assume he will make it to his full growth.Possibly 12-14 inches.
I would estimate he is 8 inches long now. :)
He is not too much older than 1 year right now, and could live quite a long time depending on his environment.
I feed him fish flakes, rosies, and a few gold fish (comets).
I keep his temperature at 73 or a bit higher to account for Brazilian river temps. They are a tropical fish, but can live and thrive in waters down to 54 degrees. :) ... They are really a very hardy fish if you can get them to live longer than 3 months. At a young age they are very susceptible to temps and water conditions.

I would advise if you want to get one get a single fish. They seem to do much better as they are very dominant fish.

How do you like the turkey show O? :)
Those turkeys kept coming up behind our cabin for tidbits.I took that photo from our car actually.I was so surprised the noise didn't bother them.Guess they are used to the folks around here.

Lyle, i am sorry to hear about your Dad's friend passing.I have grown very attached to Wayne now i would hate to lose him.He likes music.Every time i start to play my guitar he jumps up behind me and lies down and listens.
Boy can he be a bugger though!Especially at night time.Eating Moms plants (broke him of that with a spray bottle though) :lol . His favorite sleeping place is on top of a big green tub container up on top of one of our shelves in my sons bedroom. There and my computer chair.I sat on him one night when i came out, and couldn't sleep.I felt him there before i put my whole weight down though...thank goodness!Scared him to death though :lol
