Hi u guys(again) i need more help. can you speedpaint on gimp 2.6.11 and how???

You have Gimp installed, I assume. If you have tablet (Wacom is good brand) it helps quite a lot.

Other than that, you need some idea what to paint. Then open Gimp, File->New, just take a brush tool, select a color and go.

I have seen really great paintings done in one layer with only one basic brush. In speed painting you don't use very complicated tools, the whole idea is just paint fast.

When you use all capital letters it is the equivalent of shouting.

I understand your frustration but it is no excuse for shouting rudely at people because they did not have the answer you were hoping for.

Better ask first this question to Google , search "gimp speedpaint video"

BUT i may solve your doubt YOU can't do any speedpaint with gimp because you didn't even try to paint with gimp and that came first
you could not have done yet, since you was believing gimp a voice or music recorder only few hours ago

I wonder what would be your next question, ..maybe how make a good animation effects (a bit as in Avatar but more professional) with gimp ?

so everytime someone draws a speedpaint there going rly fast at drawing it!? that cant be possible bc no one can draw a whole cat face in three seconds!!!! so can someone please show me? like or tell me!!!

Those videos are often at 4x to 10x speed, artists are not that fast. Also, they videoedit them to be shorter for impatient audiences...

First, learn to draw.
Practice drawing at least two hours every day.
Soon you will be able to draw faster.
Continue practicing every day for a year or two.
Eventually you will be able to speed paint.

warriorcats, Maybe if you talk real nice, one of the script writers on this forum will write a speed paint script.

Speed painting is an effect created by painting the image while video recording the process.
Then speeding up the clip.Then of course you post it on YouTube or there is no sense in doing it.

You can't get useful anwers to questions that don't make sense

To clear i rephrase your question but replacing " speed-paint " with "write" and "Gimp" with "Word":

1 " Can i use a pen or MS Word to write a novel ?, ( as that i may buy in a bookstore ?) "

I may reply with "yes": it is a useless answer but similar question may only bring useless answers

it is not a much better question so good answers are still impossible :
someone may suggest to type using all 10 fingers instead then just one, other to wrote first the plot and then to expand the plot in a novel...others may suggest to use OpenOffice instead then Word

All correct answers but all useless because are attempt to reply to a question that doesn't make sense

Similar questions may give the sensation to be done just to waist the time, :
to get good answers good question are needed

I must confess that when i was a student i was used ask similar question (much more sophisticated but with same nonsensical structure) to confuse my teacher so time will pass by till the ringing bell ...and so avoid interrogations.

So they had a meaning and utility even if i didn't care of the question and even less of the answers

Though using a video recorder such as Record My Desktop is, in my humble opinion, generally a more appropriate solution.
