Awesome scenery, but I think a stroll on the beach is just as awesome and I won't have nightmares about it later.

I saw this on a documentary show once before.Very cool place.
I myself would love to try it out.But then again i was a roofer for 12 years of my life so high altitudes do not scare me.

That's awesome. I love the view but no way would I trust that old broken stone path and no way would I walk that little 3" wide steel beam. They have more guts than I.

I used to really like going up to Caesars Head, walk through the devil's courtyard and climb into "Caesars mouth". That is really scary and exciting, with an amazing view.

Caesars mouth is a natural cavern just below the fence you see there. The state put up a small rail a few years back, in an attempt to keep people from going into the mouth but it's a mild deterrent.

Not nearly as "exciting" (or as dangerously thrilling) as the Huashan trail or El Camino, but certainly breathtaking, was the Bar Harbor, Maine location, that featured Thunder Cove and Cadillac Mountain. I recall watching in amazement as tens of people would climb up on the Hodges bubblerock and jump up and down, as if they wanted to dislodge this massive rock. It was only about 750 - 1,000 ft drop below, should anyone had succeeded or fell. Similar to GnuTux, I prefer keeping a safe distance because Murphy always seems to be close by.

The Acadiamagic website has hundreds of stunning pictures of the Bar Harbor location, found here (including a couple of pics of Stephen King's home):
