Is this a new plug-in included in GIMP 2.7?

I believe it's for all GIMP versions.

Samj has already compiled it for 32 and 64 bit windows. :)
I am not positive about it working in 2.7.3.I have only tested it in Gimp-2.6.11.

EDIT - tested in Gimp-2.7.3 and it works fine.

You can create some real cool looking planet textures with it.

These were created in Gimp-2.7.3

I also used one of my vintage gradients.

I believe Sylvie be woman not a men...however you are right she is doing a precious job compiling plugins almost at soon they asre created

Too bad not even her was able to compile Mathmap (i miss a 64 bit version ...more i hacked the preview doubling its size and added my collection of filters and )i was impatient to play with the bigger preview on gimp 2.7.3 but ...no luck

Ooopss i am going OT ...cool plugin nice addition to gimp

Don't know French names and did not know that Sylvie was a womans name; oopps. lol

Apologies to Sylvie; she definitely has done a fantastic job for sure PC. Would be cool to have a 64-bit version of Mathmap, but that's life sometimes. :)

I'm not a filter guy, but this plug-in really caught my interest.

For comparison, the Alien Map plug-in that comes with GIMP (Colors > Map > Alien Map)

It has taken me a bit of time to understand what is going on with this. I tried a tileable, difference clouds image and playing with the controls in a black and white image gave me a much better understanding of how the filter works along with understanding the RGB "rainbow." Plus an added bonus of having a seamless bg image if I want.

It's really a lot of fun to play with.
