Hello! My name is Alex. I edit photos with GIMP, and run a blog teaching people my methods of photo-editing with GIMP.

I joined this forum hoping to help people learn how to edit photos, and to learn photo-editing techniques that I am not familiar with in GIMP.

Thank you! I get a lot of compliments on that one. I passed that house while driving down the road one day, and I had to take a photo of it. It was spooky even before the edits. Call it placebo, call it whatever, it made my neck hairs stand on end the entire time I was there. Creeped me out.

Who know what may lurk in those cobwebby hallways and closets?

The crazy thing is it is right off of the highway off of a road that runs parallel to the highway. If you turn around, you see cars...and lots of cars.

I'm interested to know which OS you are suing Alex as I see you have at least one specific tutorial there for a mac. And if indeed its a mac you are using, have you yet figured out how to get python script/plug ins to work.

Yes, I am a bit of a computer hoarder, and have a windows, ubuntu, and mac machine, all of which run gimp.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with scripts or plugins with gimp. That's one of the reasons for my decision to join this forum!

Ahh ok...well there are tutorial resources on this forum regarding the installation of those extra items...I'm sure you will find some very useful help here. I'm a mac user myself.
