I had already installed the latest release over a week ago (check Sourceforge daily). What I forgot about was that I was using the python in Inkscape to process the Traveling Salesman Problem python batch programs and did not make a backup so I had to figure out what I did to change the batch file in order for the TSP to work again. lol

I backed up all the pertinent files this time.

i already got the new Inkscape but see again that page was a illumination...maybe also for you..look how that pages at http://inkscape.org/ lead nicely to Sourceforge servers...without abrupt jump... :clap

Another minor update to Inkscape to version .48.3.1

Because of malware being found in SourceForge downloads, this link has been removed.
