resizeing to 128x128???

GIMP Version: gimp 2
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: windows 7
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

ok so im wanting to resize imges to 128x128 and ive tried and tried but it just will not happen for me. i tryed resizeing to 128x128 but when i press convert the size changes!? pleas help

What size are your images before you re-size them? If they are not square to start with, then you will need to crop them square before re-sizing them

its ok iv done it now i dint know u had to click on the paperclip thing lol

its ok iv done it now i dint know u had to click on the paperclip thing lol

You could have also just typed 128 in the X and Y values in the scale tool.

For what it's worth, the "paperclip thing" is actually supposed to represent a chain link and it fixates the height/width ratio of the result to match the original.
