We like silly questions. We asked enough of our own. No reason for you to get bumped off unless you break the rules.

:welcome to Gimp Chat.

Hi pixelbean. I feel safe in saying that you could never ask a question that hasn't been asked before.

Hey Pixelbean,
I'm pretty new here, although I have been using Gimp since the beginning. Please feel free to ask all the questions you need. The only stupid question, is the one you fail to ask!

Greg

Thank you all for your very toasty welcome!!!

Its been so cold in winter here.

I have done some simple gimp stuff with help from the youtube gimp tuts videos.
But i still made mistakes. Especially the dashes (the now dead marching ants) they wont go away.
So my banner still has that dashes outside of the border that i input (layer > transparency> grow 2px > edit stroke 2px > select none etc.,
I am embarrassed. pixel
