Rod needs some competition with Fractilus. G'MICtillus is still a work in progress and I thank David for keeping the b/w hard sketch instead of replacing (need to click the fast approximation) it as was going to be done originally. Really like the Lissajous like waves created using this preset. Reminds me of the old video game QIX and indeed I use to call it QIX, but changed it to G'MICtillus a little later. lol

Redfields filter takes "supposed" hidden fractal shading in the image and allows it to be seen.
I personally think that's a bunch of hokie.. lol
I think it is just a type of threshold or brightest edge finder that somehow inverts those edges to be more refined.Maybe some code in there to brighten edges up a bit?

But who knows Redfields deep dark secrets. :)
Filter Forge can come mighty close though! :lol

To get better holes, I will share one of my many secrets (lol). I like running lylejk stencil preset before b/w hardsketch. Now you know. lol

I didn't do this for the leaves though; I instead followed the result with G'MIC Fast Tone Mapping preset to brighten the lower details up. :)

Not going to create another thread. Thought I would post another G'MICtillus Concoction. I used a vine Tomatoes capture that O shared with us a while back for this result. :)
