I know this is not a completely Gimp work but i couldn't resist to post it.I hope you don't mind.
I made this by following the tutorial on Deviantart http://frchblndy.deviantart.com/art/Mid ... l-81751305 using Apophysis.Then I finished it in Gimp by adding some background,gradiens and at the end I used Mathmap Kaleidoscope.

))) i've been here but i didn't have nothing to post....I was playing around with the Mathmap,trying to figure it out and fell in love with this kaleidoscopes...i'm amazed how you can transform one photo/image in so many ways

the MM Kaleidoscope is still the best available for Gimp

Yes,I agree with you.I love it and i use it a lot

. Actually that's the only filter that I use from Mathmap.
