Pool Balls

I don't know where this is really supposed to go but I wanted to share something I found while I was cleaning up one of my flash drives. When I introduced myself to GC a while back I posted a pic of some pool balls I made by following a PS tutorial. I found the XCF file I saved!

That's really cool! Like the glossy effect and the shading. Is tutorial online?

I couldn't remember where I saw it but I just ggogled up PS pool balls tutorial and found it about 3 or 4 pages deep. This site has some other pretty good tutorials that can be adapted to GIMP. Here it is....

Hang on, that's not it, that's the same image but that's a PS template not the tut. Lemme keep digging and see if I can find it for you guys.

They're so...SHINY! I too am curious to see the tutorial, because I think I would have drawn this in Inkscape instead of GIMP.

The xcf file is the one I made from scratch looking at the PS tutorial and just recreating the steps. That' how I made the pic I posted. It's not the original. I looked for about an hour to find the PS tut again but no luck. Sorry.

The tuts posted above are ok but they don't hold a candle to the one I saw.

Wouln't it be cool to find a script that could do that!
