Proposed "Roddy" Rodilius mascot

Snait (at G'MIC Flickr) gave me the idea for a new mascot to join up with Gmicky and Wilber.

Meet my version of Roddy Rodilius:

Thanks, I used the Rodilius filter in the draft. Only made sense to do that.

After some exhaustive research, I have come to believe this bears a remarkable resemblance to a species indigenous to the Gimp Islands known as Rodilius Porcupineus.

Roddy is really just as much a tribute to Rod for introducing the workflow to David for making "Rodilius" possible, as he is mascot for G'MIC. At least, that is my intention.

If you look at my lion done with Rodilius, and compare it with the Fractalius version, they don't look much different:

Indeed, Rod had such a great inspiration for designing this filter, that he deserves kudos.
Mahvin, I hope you don't mind that Roddy has became another new mascot for G'MIC. I must admit he is so cute, my wife and my two daughters already felt in love with him (I mean, Roddy, not Mahvin, at least I hope so

)

EDIT : Of course, if you feel yourself in a great inspiration, that could be great to have both Gmicky and Roddy doing funny things on the same pictures (not R-rated by the way

).

I am very humbled.What really made me feel good was to help (David deserves the credit), bring something to users of GMIC.

David you are one phenomenal coder and i hope to help bring even more to GMIC in the future.

I have plans to have Roddy "help" Gmicky get his "magic mojo" on. I'd love to make it an animation short, but we'll see. Don't want to get in over my head, but the idea is planted. Just think along the lines of balloons bursting and "you know who" being involved.

I must still make the "about" page for my filters i think Roddy Rodilius may solve for the illustration...i think to scale down this

Done ..humm not sure if i can use i see the others are just using no images but instead a sort of html to indicate the bg color and font and text

oh well i remember there is a command to grab and display images i hope i will found it
