A new render pattern filter for gmic somehow similar to "Symmetric Deco" yet very different

The filter is ready but upload this time is a bit complex, i must take care to upload a lot of other new filters
(new layer mode and the new version of Graphic Novel ) because are required as dependencies

But for tomorrow should be in my source

in Artistic you will found also the new versions of Graphic Novel and Graphic Boost...new version has the name enclosed by **...so **Graphic Novel ** is the last version that without ** the older

It was fine before you uploaded. Is there a limit to how many filters you can add to the .gmic file?

that is a question for David
I believe there is a limit for preset, for faves (i had more then 100 and weird things start to happen to the menu) but not sure for the filters.

As now you should see a lot of new filters under Photocomix filters but that are new combinations of layer mode,
that i need as dependency ...

Then the 2 new filters are in PATTERNS close to the bottom, and in Artistic you should see the new **Graphic Novel **and **Graphic Boost**, Phoenix Steam-pen , Mescalito Colors,Psychedelic Glasswork tiler,...

and in "Black & white" Steampunk pencil

OK, those filters are in the locations you mentioned, but this fave list weirdness has me baffled. I hope David can help clear it up.

me too, no problem with the faves the problem is above the fav , where should be nothing , there i see very weird things happening

please check if is a particular option that cause the problem, i can't replicate

But you already had a similar problem with the preview with the older version ..right ?

humm ...if you click OK works ?

another thing, set the output to new layer , run it and look the layer name ...after[gmic] and some ;; did you see "-gimp_graphic_novelfxl " or something else ?

Maybe gmic doesn't like the "**" in the name? but why for me works i moved away all local files to check, i just have the file from the server, from last refresh

It threw this error when running it:

*** Error in ./gimp_graphic_boost4/*repeat/*local/*local/ *** Command 'endif' : Not associated to a 'if' command within the same scope.

Aaahh... Graphic Boost not graphic Novel!

now fixed thank a lot for reporting

BTW what is new in GB as in GN are a much more options for merging, i created 9 variation of layer mode for
a similar use ,mainly to merge color images with BW derivate...
