Photoshop has a tool call the liquify tool that i really like and i was wondering if there
was if it something like it for gimp, the closest thing i find was iwarp witch is cool but
you use it with your mouse instead of a brush witch i don't care really for. is there a plug in or somthing that does
this in gimp?

I will admit that I like PS's Liquify a lot better then GIMP iWarp. Main issue I have with iWarp is the preview screen. Liquify gives you real-time hirez preview as I recall (too lazy to open CS5 right now; lol). I will admit I don't use either that often.

I agree Lyle, Liquify outweighs the warp tool by far. It is so very simple to use too.

Yeah...unfortunately iwarp is as close as it gets. I did read on a post online that it is possible to make the preview load faster if you select the area that you're modifying before you actually click on the warp tool.

i don't like the fact that i have to use my mouse instead of a brush, it drive me nuts i work better with a brush.

Unfortunately, it seems that it will not be available for Gimp 2.8.

If you use Shellout you can call paintdotnet and use Pyros addon liquify tool...which is exactly like PhotoShops.
