Make sure you do not have 2 of the libxml2.dlls
1 in gimp-2.0/bin folder, and 1 in YouruserNamefolder/-gimp-2.6/plug-ins folder
If you do delete one or move it out of Gimps directory path.(like to your desktop)
Restart Gimp.

Glad to help :)
Most of these kinds of errors stem from double dll files in Gimps path.

If you are sure you must uninstall mathmap close your gimp and try the windows control panel where it should be listed under mathmap. But incidently if you placed the installer inside your plugins folder before running that may be a different matter could you post a screenshot of the contents of your plugins folder before deleting anything and as for TeamViewer its never wise to give access of your system to anyone.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I keep getting a "not enough arguments" message. I've included the dialog to the script of how I filled it out.

Later edit: Found out what I was doing wrong. Needed to uncheck Fill Background. I was using a pattern only.

'O' you need to install the fill background script script I supplied with Xmas Ornament not the version RobA released later as it has 1 extra parameter to fill to a distance I did not change script becouse Rob was still working on his and I prefered to have opacity control.

PhotoComix you have quite a calling over at Flicker: Discuss. I've been over there all day long. Some neat apps over there. I got the Preview to 2.0.8 gimp I think it is called and G'MIC. It looks like you have a smoothing technique in G'MIC. Powerful! Now just to learn it, but back to the other. Is it suppose to be called mamthmap? If so, where do I change it?
Thanks

Hi Slide I gather you still don't have Mathmap showing, could you post a snapshot of your bin folder.
I think mamthmap was just a typo.

Does gimp start without error on mathmap, if not uninstall mathmap (via win cotrol panel) and try to start gimp again

With PC's gimp-2.6 zip install there is no install just un compress.

All you should have to do is
1) download the zip
2) un compress the zip (to any folder)
3) place the folder named "mathmap" in your - UserFolder/.gimp-2.6/ folder
4) place the mathmap.exe and all the dll files in the - UserFolder/.gimp-2.6/plug-ins folder

Same with PC's gimp-2.7 zip install. (there is no installer)

Restart Gimp and it will be in Filters>Generic>Mathmap

Save or delete the zip files you downloaded.

Rod Ifound it thankyou, but it's 1.2.4 do you think we should try that and maybe later upgrade to 1.3.5?
I believe that should work it does not have a libxml2.dll

I guess I'm missing something again. The download of mathmap is an installer. It puts all of it in .gimp folders. Is there a zip that I can download mathmap that isn't the installer? I can't unzip the file. Tried. I put all of the script files where they go and come up with the errors.
gimp-2.7.4-64bit has the installer
link here.
I installed it today. Comes up with "Preview of Gimp 2.0.8" I think that's what it says. The Christmas script is really neat and I hope to get it going before The Forth of July. :hehe
Thanks

I uninstall and no errors. Reinstalled mathmap again and the error are back. This is crazy that not all that have installed it and had no errors.
Thanks again.
