GIMP Version: 2.6.11
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: XP - SP3
GIMP Experience: Beginner Level

I am working on web-site images. The vendor has supplies several hundred but they are too big. I can rescale and size using gimp manually. Is there a way to capture key strokes or a simple script. Looking for a way to keep the aspect ratio but rescale to a smaller size just providing current path and out put path.

thanks

Use ImageMagick's convert if your can handle command line stuff. Otherwise either XnView or IrganView should have a batch mode for this.

yes for sure xnview (www.xnview.com) offers many batch options with a clear graphic interface.

That is exactly what i would use Xnview.
If you really have to do it in Gimp though use Davids Batch Convertor.
