HI All
I am finally back on here yay !
I know i probably missed a lot of new topics and I had bookmarks for certain scripts
(ie:http://www.gimptalk.com/index.php?/topic/300-tutorialgapinserting-animated-gifs-painlessly/)

except that unless they moved to the North Pole,I can't get it to open
is all of gimptalk gone?
and i can't see some of the new any scripfu on my gimp anymore.
I also lost all the new "colorize and cartoonize" and blings ..
Can someone please help me and send me in the right place to find them again?

Thank You

Glad to see you back Pirate. Gimp Talk has been off line for 3 or 4 days, I don't know if it is back yet or not.

If you know the name of all the scripts you are missing we could help you by directing you to them or post them here. At the top of this page there are most of the gimp scripts, if you click the link.
gimp scripts and plug-ins you will probably find the ones you are missing.

I think you just click refresh in GMIC or click about then click additional filters, then click beside Photo Comix and click the refresh button. Make sure you open a layer first or you won't be able to click GMIC.

Actually you could click on all the extra filter names and click apply or ok, then click the refresh and all your filters should refresh in GMIC.

There is a new GMIC version 1.5.0.9, and you should update to that version. Now all the extra script writers can just upload or update their scripts and the user can just go to About>Additional Filters and select all the boxes.Click apply and then the refresh button (bottom of the GMIC filters menu). Then all the new filters should load for you.

Be sure and update GMIC to the newest version first though.
Most gimp filters can be found here

This is where your refresh button is Pirate. Make sure you put check mark beside the internet button.

Thank You Guys :)
As usual,You always have my gratitude for Your patience
It is strange though, because i had saved my Gimp with all the filters and scripts I had gathered before the crash
But when i reinstalled it,none are showing..bling and sparkles are gone as well
So now I am hunting them all down again

I am also getting an error message when i use bling text:
Bling Text (animation option) Message:
Error while executing script-fu-bling-text:

Error: Procedure execution of gimp-context-set-pattern failed on invalid input arguments: Pattern 'Little Stars 1' not found
OK it won't work with stars, but works with other patterns..
I also D/ld the electricity text:
http://gimpscripts.com/2011/10/electric ... on-option/
it's supposed to let me chose font and sizes and number of frames...it doesn't
it just opens gives me color choice then when i animate it blinks around the text i typed in only,it won't do anything else

I guess you also downloaded the patterns that you have to use with the bling plug-in. I don't think it will work if you don't.
Other than that, maybe someone else will be able to help.

oh,no,it gets there, but it said tiny stars not available,it allows only sparkles.
but the options i was referring to are for the electricity script,it only opens a box with preset options
but it won't let me chose font and sizes and number of frames
I also d/ld "colorize" but i can't find it anywhere, even though it is in Gimp's plugins.
So i don't know what is going on
