I am really confused by 3 long topic on a similar argument , Resources manager

maybe somebody may summarize and know the answer to a couple of questions:

1)Gurm, MareQ scripts, or something else are portable ? i mean once installed if i transfer my portable gimp on a different drive i must then correct all the paths ?
( i use only paths for subfolders inside gimp)

2) well a confront, also any of this may save configurations ?
suppose i want have a few possible configuration(i.e animation, photo-retouch, painting ) and be able to switch quickly, it would be possible ?

With either GURM or MareroQ's application you can just add the resource files on the flash drive in a separate folder and call them from there.
What's really cool about MareroQ's version is that if you zip each file individually you can open 1 or as many as you want without opening an entire directory.Plus his managers load faster because they load only those resources they are...brush manager reloads only brushes and so on and so on.So its very fast.
If only it were possible to do with plug-ins.
GURM version 8 allows to load plugins but i have not tested it yet.It would bog my system way down reloading every resource.
I would rather have a manager for just plugins to load just plugins. :)

Ohh MareroQ........ :) :hexer

Has anyone tested the plugins resource manager in version 8 yet? :)
I guess i could give it a try. I have a feeling it will close and restart Gimp every time a plugin is loaded though.
