I wonder if this Utility exists

Does anybody know of a utility that will take a dingbat font and and convert it into a png of each glyph? It takes forever to convert each one individually. I know it can be done in gimp one at a time, but to do it as a batch would be really helpful.

I was playing with BabelPad and found an easy way that's worth a shot.
http://www.babelstone.co.uk/Software/BabelPad.html

1. Download, BabelPad and run it (no install required).
2. In BabelPad, Tools => Export Font Glyphs...
3. Pick your Options and Export folder.

In BabelMap, Fonts => Export Font Glyphs...

Imagemagick didn't help much but babelpad worked wonderfully, thanks. I'm making a cook book for my wife's class that she teaches and needed several glyphs of a kitchen dingbat font. I added some color to make them interesting. The fruit was extracted by babelpad, the fruit were extracted via babelpad and colored in gimp. Thanks, this will save me a LOT of time.

I know you like your fonts so I'm sure you will find both BabelPad and BabelMap useful.

ImageMagick is fantastic for batch manipulation of images but has a very steep learning curve and probably wasn't a great suggestion.

For batch operations I use either xnview or fastone image viewer. The viewer has batch operations and a very good capture built into it. I like both fastone and xnview and can't decide which I like the most so I use them both.
