lol; how has things changed. I still remember the adaptors that allowed you to upgrade old memory cards to fit the new memory slots (sort of looked like a tree with branches as I recall; lol). Now, my current system has 6GBytes of RAM; I still remember Harddrives with less then 30MBytes (and it was a novel device when PC's use to have to boot from floppy; lol). Heck, even as late as the early 90s, HDs still were smaller then 1GByte. I can invision a 1 Terrabyte flash drive in the next 3 to 5 years; crazy stuff. :)

Oh, nostalgia time. Some of the prices were truly mind-boggling. Still have my ZX81 from 1982, came with 1 KB of memory, cost about UKP200 worth about 15 (maybe) now.

Not as old as the previous example, perhaps late '80s. Note the "Keen Prices"

I found a couple of old computer shopper magazines from the early 90s the other day while cleaning out a closet. Yep, I'm a pack rat. It was kinda entertaining looking through those old computer mags from 20 years ago.

On my birthdays I use to get (turned 61 yesterday) a major upgrade to my computer, audio/video, etc. It's definitely cheaper these days.

btw, This birthday I got a shirt, a pair of pants and a whoopie cushion. A least I thought it was a whoopie cushion??
