Kanchi stumbles upon gimpchat :D

Hi everyone~

It's difficult to introduce myself, because even I don't know myself

I'm from Durban, South Africa. At the moment I'm studying English and linguistics so I can make my way over to Asia again. In the meantime I'm using what I studied previously, computer programming and web design, to make some money on the side and pay for studies, rent etc.
I use GIMP for web graphics, and each day it becomes more and more awesome! Well, I actually learn a little more about GIMP each day but I'm sure GIMP itself is becoming more awesome, too ( if that's possible! )

Rod's gear tutorial found me on Google, and here I am! :hi5

Hi 2-ton

English is my native language - I'm only studying it so that I can teach it without doing anything illegal.. again

Other than English I speak Afrikaans as a second language, I'm learning some German from my dad and I'm interested in Korean and Japanese

Right now though I'm learning a lot of GIMPish! ^____^

I taught in the Philippines for 2 and a half years. Okay, so it wasn't quite illegal because I had a work permit, but I didn't feel right about it because I hadn't completed my degree yet
