Another excellent piece of artwork Griatch. :)
And the colors are a really great choice.

I almost get a sense of her wanting some payback for her lost leg?
Or perhaps she just likes to sit and think at her favorite spot?

Is her hair blowing in the wind? I get a feel for high gusty wind when i look at the choppy waves.Or is that a very large Mohawk hair style?

The city looks futuristic, and it just has your style written all over it.

Really nice piece.Congrats!

I absolutely adore this one. Even better than your trolls IMO. Beautiful work.

Thanks for the comments!

@Rod
Yes, it's intended to be a gust of wind catching her hair -- that's why she squints too. But as with most things about this character, her intentions are open to interpretation.

@lylejk
I reworked the water a few times before putting this up, so glad you like it!

@Erisian
Thanks! This is a considerably moodier style than I use for the troll-series. Most of the images with this character are infact in black and white.

@ZWard
Glad you like it. :)

@Esper
This is a long-running character of mine, it's not (publically) known how her legs were lost, and she's not talking. ;)

Another great piece of artwork, Griatch.

As Lyle mentioned, I too like the color palette of the water and sky. I also really like the overall futuristic feel of the piece.

Thanks, I have received some mixed opinions on the color palette, I like it myself but it's certainly a lot more muted than many other works I've done (then again, Where Red Apples Lie is mostly in black-and-white overall).

Also interesting how many say it looks so futuristic. Apart from the high rises in the distance it's a depiction of a rocky beach after all. :)

The colour palette is perfect for the mood. When I judge a work of art, I try not to let personal taste cloud my opinion. If I wanted something to hang on my wall it would have to be one of your trolls but for pure skill and feeling, this is IMO your best piece of work.

My best piece, even? That's high praise!

The troll series of images are indeed using quite a different colour palette from this one, that is certainly true! :D
