I live in Australia and I have no idea what it is...never seen it and I have lived in a couple of states.

I did find that one, but saw it had different leaves, etc
But I should have looked further as mine is just another variation of the species

I dont see any map...something about Western Australia...its so remote over there that its almost like another country. Why couldnt you just say Western Australia?

This is another one of my conjoined tomatoes. Over half the tomatoes that are Beef Steak are that way. (They have a double flower on them)
No more beef steak tomatoes for me, they are too hard to slice.

Yes I find that too. Better Boy are a very nice smooth tomato. I don't like lumpy tomatoes.

I would make tomato soup with that molly! Not much slicing up when you make soup.

If it were just one or two I wouldn't mind but when they are conjoined like that, most of the time they split at the bottom and a lot of bugs get inside the split before they even ripen. Other than that, they are delicious. I will be getting split lips if I keep eating so many.

my favorite "go-to" tomato is an heirloom variety called "Eva Purple Ball". The fruits are medium size, very round, nearly blemish free, no green shoulders to speak of, and slightly pinkish rather than deep red. They are super tasty, too, great old fashioned tomato flavor. A plus is that they are open pollinated, so I have a raised be devoted to only them, and they reseed themselves and come up on their own every year without changing.

should be some pics on this google page. if you want to try them next year, I'll save some seeds in the fall and send them. The need to be trellised or staked in order to keep the fruit off of the ground, and as most heirlooms, they vine and vine and vine until they freeze!
