That's helpful, thanks. I've been getting a lot of resources from Mixter, a site I found through Steve Czajka, which has some excellent CC music tracks.

i just stumble on a collection of Jimmy Rodgers... i believe he was the 2nd folksinger i listened (the first was Bob Dylan , when i read a interview to Bob were quotes and credit for Jimmy so i get curious and started to search ..)

Actually i have a tribute album (again from Bob Dylan ,with Jerry Garcia, Van Morrison.. ) dedicated to Jimmy but no more his original songs..happy to find at good quality with free and licit download

here http://archive.org/details/JimmieRodgers-01-50
and more here http://archive.org/search.php?query=cre ... rodgers%22

This looks to be a good cause that I could support. :bigthup

I've released a couple of raw mixes of a couple of my older original tunes on soundclick.com, which has lots of free music from Indy artists and bands.

Runnin'

Good Times

I still maintain the copyright on those two songs but other than that, people are free to listen and download.

I vaguely remember that you said you played keyboard if my halfheimerz memory serves me correctly Tux. The samples sound good by the way; listening to the second tune now as I type this. :)

Thanks, Y'all!

I hear ya on the 8 years alc59. That was about the time I release those tunes (2004). I just got tired of all the hassles that comes with trying to keep a band together, so I just do solo stuff now.

Those tunes are compressed mp3s of older mixes so the sound quality is not that great. I have a much better final mix of Runnin', with higher production values that I'll post one of these days. I'm kinda proud of that tune. It made it all the way to #4 on Sound Click back in 2004 and it won "Keyboards of the month" award over at the now defunct garageband.com.

I can't seem to write 3 minute radio tunes, though. I tend to prefer more complex album oriented rock so that's what I compose.
