Máirín Duffy (an employee of Red Hat Linux) has an interesting recounting of her experiences introducing a group of Girl Scouts to GIMP.

How utterly cool. I loved it when one of them said she wished she didn't have to wait for Fridays to take the class.

What a great way to introduce young people to GIMP. Kudos to the teachers and Red Hat!!!

I taught digital photography classes throughout NJ and I focused very strongly on Gimp!
