Whilst playing around with alc's Metal Ring or Sphere Tutorial and the thread going into using spirals, I though how much they looked like the streamers found on birthday party items.

So I decided to create som animated brushes to reflect this, there a four brushes in the pack, a single brush for each spiral shape then a single brush containing all the spirals together.

They are in greyscale mode so can be coloured as you like. Just realised that the greyscale brushes are semi transparent because of the way gimp works, hence if you use a darker background it shows through and they don't look so good, so have created another set that are purely black and white.

Thanks for the comments, do really like the first set with the highlights and all, its a shame they are semi transparent.
Possibly thinking of making a set coloured, using twelve evenly spaced hues.
