I've added a small filter in the G'MIC plug-in, called 'Patterns / Lava', which allows to render some kind of lava texture over an image. It looks like this :



Should be available for users of G'MIC 1.5.2.0+, after a filter update.
I hope you will get some nice ideas to use it (as always ).
