I can't draw worth a darn but it seems to be the only thing that wards off this depression, the worst I've ever experienced. I guess my mom not being here hits me a little harder every day. Anyway, this is my first freehand drawing. I don't it's too bad for a first time.

quite good, you have a good eye. When I try to draw, it always seems to slant to the right. And yes, this time of year is the worst for depression even if you have no reason to be depressed. Something to do with the light, or lack thereof. Recognizing have it is a major help, and having something you like to do to distract you is another major help.

I have a reason, my mom died 4 days ago and I didn't find out until Christmas morning. My step dad and sister made an effort the next day so I wouldn't find out. Plus I have SADS, which is what you're talking about.
