I've stumbled upon this article recently :

http://maketecheasier.com/advanced-imag ... 2013/01/16

The author found G'MIC to be very cool (how smart she is! :D ), and it seems she particularly appreciated two filters made by GimpChat members, Lylejk (for the Lylejk's Painting filter) and PhotoComiX (for the InkWash filter), so I thought I had to share this link here :coolthup

Thank you again pals ! :hi5

That is a very nice, well thought out article. The author seems to know their stuff. It looks like a lot of interesting information on that web site.

I've been outed. lolol

Definitely a cool article; enjoyed the read too David. G'MIC, again, puts GIMP on steroids. When 16/32bit support gets implemented (and I do hope they don't break G'MIC in the process), we may even be able to do 16/32 bit operations in GIMP/G'MIC (might be more headaches for you though David; lol). Not sure what the GIMP developers think of your contributions, but I do hope they appreciate the gift that you gave GIMP. :)

If they don't make big changes in the API, it won't hurt at all, as G'MIC is already doing all his computations with float-valued pixels :hehe
