photoshopped versus gimped

so in certain forums there is this nice little tradition called photoshopping/chopping as a form of attack
annoying people get shopped, preferably with male genitalia coming out of their eyes and ears (sorry, i didnt invent that)

and while i was staring at my monitor i wondered, what is the equivalent of being photoshopped - is it being gimped ?
if so, its another reason why Gimp is vastly superior to PS :mrgreen:

Come one, you never used your skills to ruin FB photos posted by a fellow ?
I did (with gimp of course). I never used genitalia, though. (:

I'm censoring most of his face or he'd kill me..

'photoshoped', 'photoshoping' is often employed in negative terms to express 'fake' or 'overdone' so I hope it'll never happen for 'gimped'.

he's a nice and helpful guy and i'm sure molly was under bad influence from some photo shopper or other.

any image made with my gimp copy will have this written in the info: "GIMPed by (anmal's real name)" - i think that adds a bit of a sadistic grin to my work :hehe

How about 'gimproved' instead of 'gimped'.

Yeah; I post a lot elsewhere and some folks actually enjoy my eclectic tastes in editing. lol

I never use the term photoshopped though. Prefer retouched.
