that is so clever, it can be used for all sorts of words, like little Wilburs in the word Gimp!

Excellent result, Esper!
Especially like that inside volumetric effect as if the glass letters were filled with smileys.
I guess that's achieved by smileys' inner shadow effect and overlapping.
Nicely done!

aha cute. =p
what font? (outline of the letters)

Esper · **Joined:** Jul 17, 2012 **Posts:** 2769

thank you K1te

i didnt put much effort into it, bevel-wise
its done with layerfx, no special extras

making the pattern was interesting and im not very good with Inkscape, so that part was a bit tough for me

you can find the PS tutorial here:

Esper - really nice.

Your version of it looks way, way better than the PS version. Their smilies are smashed together, yours are more individualized. Nice job!!!! :coolthup

I'm sure if Esper wants to attach his pattern in here that's up to him.

You can post yours here, just add it as an attachment.

The more I look at your work, Esper, the more I like it.
And I would agree with O's comment, the results of PS tutorial is less than impressive.
You made yours look like a gem.
