Mei-Realistic Close-Up; Inspired By Griatch's Close-Up Series!

Okay so GimpChat has gone Copy-Cat with Griatch's Close-Ups...

I've been infected with this deadly plague and drew a close-up of my Character Mei from Furry Friends, only I drew her in a more realistic light!

I used This Brush by ChrisF.

This took only...hmm..2 or 3 hours at most..I had a sudden inspireation do to something but I didn't have the motivation, but then I saw ChrisF's cute monsters, downloaded the brush and found my kick to go and do it!!

This has to be one of my best artworks on the computer, and again...NO TABLET!

I hope somebody else likes it!

Yeah I am, I'm gonna work on another drawing actually soon, I think I'm gonna rip off Griatch some more and do more of my Furry Friends Characters in this style here. xD

Although I think the fur could use a little more random variation around the eyes and ear.

Nice work, the fur looks so soft! Also the light coming from above adds a wonderfull touch to it

Hehe, nice to see more closeups!

Very cute indeed Moko. I must say I prefer the style you use with strong outlines, but this does look pretty nice too. Also nice to see you work more with texturing, such as that you use with the fur.

mokonafan: i really like your furry friends and i think it's a great idea to make griatch-style close ups of them! i miss the contours a bit, though, but that's just my obsession with contours.
you did a good job with the fur, most of it looks really cuddle friendly, but here and there the edges could do with a little more random strokes, they looks a bit sharp.

As said before, their natural look is with the bold outlines so nppp, this is just for fun and devolpment! ;D
I don't see it as too sharp but ur probably right. xD
She could have had a lil more fur added to her face though, I see that!
