Thanks Gramg, I won the last contest. That contest's theme was 'Amethyst' and my image below was the one that took 1st place. :)

These do look wonderful Wallace. Sucker for both space art and water renders so you got both of these covered here. :)

Wallace,

Wow! Very good! :bigthup
The first seems a magical setting, a utopian world. The whale fit very well in the picture, and seems to have given depth to water.
Seeing as much water as opposed to a planet (moon) desert, is to reflect on the value that we give to such natural resource.

In the second image set was great! Reminds me of surfing and diving. The word 'Water' filled with water waves was excellent!
The bubbles around text also looked great! Really interesting this look!
The rays of the sun, vegetation and other elements (fish, diver) made reference to the image space. I like it!

This image of Amethyst catches the eye! Congratulations on first place in the contest!
:clap :coolthup

Thanks Akros, :bigthup

You mentioned things about the images that never crossed my mind when creating them. I only did what seemed natural to me and didn't really consider the complex relationship of the images as a whole.
I think you may posses a natural ability to see things in art that most do not. ;)

OMG, the water texteffect piece is sooooo awesome !!!!!!!!!!!

i was a fan of your stuff the first time i saw you splashes, but this tops it by a mile

its obvious you have a knack for a certain style and composition, as it all looks so very flowing and naturally right

i hope i will get as good as you some day

Thanks Esper,

I don't have a clue where this style has come from. I see the finished image in my head and try very hard to recreate that with Gimp.
I've been lucky with being able to create everything that has come to mind thus far. (fingers crossed) ;)

Thanks Odin...
