The font in itself is great. Once you get the spacing ironed out you will have a hit. Just take a little break from it and then the next time around it will work for you.
I really like it.

It's one of those hidden gems in Inkscape.

Although dated, it's an interesting read with much valid information.

Kerning....check.

Is this a Windows Font? I don't know what button to click on that sight. I get the red wot icon when I click them.

finally some time to play with the orbit racer font :)! i started with a text effect from gimp science labs, but as usual i had to change a little here and there.

its a pity its so small, but i really like everything you did with the text
the green stroke, the pattern/texture, the highlights, the slightly iridescent look

esper: thanks! the original is bigger, as usual. i see the small black text really doesn't look good downscaled. i'm actually very pleased with myself when i look at this. i think the pattern, the way i did the highlights and the hint of iridescence all look great.

Very nice Anmal! I like the metal texture on it. Is it from Wallace?

I`m workin on a manipulation of this font:

I have create some custom brushes in Inkscape and paint over this font to make a grunge style.
It looks really cool so far...i will post an screenshot here today!
