I was getting lots of script-fu errors and now it look as though my script-fu plug in has flown the coop, gone, disappeared, lost... It's just not there any more.
I looked in my plugin folder and it has vanished. No script-fu menu to be found on the tool bar either. :gaah I was going to run the duplicate script finder and noticed it wasn't where it usually should be on the tool bar, so I went looking for it. My poor script-fu exe with it's wonderful little filters, where have you gone to... :bawl

Where can I get one for 2.6.11???

I don't suppose you rebooted and looked again...You probably did, but that restores stuff quite often.

You could try this one, but I'm very concerned that it's gone missing. :(

I've taken this from C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.6.7\lib\gimp\2.0\plugins

@paynekj
Yes me too... I've look high and low, can't find the little fella. I did find lots of duplicate patterns, palettes and scripts though. :hehe

Thanks for the exe file paynekj, hope it does the trick. Oh!... and your 'dup finder script' worked like a charm. ;)

@molly,

That's what I was thinking too, but after 3 reboots, it was still missing. it's a mystery... :puzzled
Looks like a job for Detective Wilber. :hehe Maybe if I simply turn the lights off, it will reappear.

Just curious.
Did you look in the recycle bin?

@Rod,
Well, I did a system wide Windows search and couldn't find a trace of the file. The first place I looked before doing this search was the recycle bin.
I don't know were it could have gone, it seemed to have just vanish for my system altogether. Nothing like this has ever happened before, I'm very careful about what is in my recycle bin and always double and sometimes triple check what I'm about to remove.
I also ran 'Recuva', it's a free 'file recovery program' offered by 'Piriform'. They are the same makers of the programs CCleaner and Defraggler. Still I didn't find the script-fu exe file though.
It may still be somewhere on my hard-drive, but if it is... I may need a more powerful program then 'Recuva' to claim it, if it is there.
I do plan to wipe my free space some time soon. If it is somewhere on hard-drive, it will be lost forever and then I'll never know where it went and what happened to it.
I can't explain it... :puzzled

Just for fun try a search with, *script-fu*.exe*
This will find script-fu.exe and any variant, if somehow it got renamed.

@Odinbc,
I've used just about every search syntax and wildcards I could logically use to look for this missing file. Including the one you mentioned, without result. I'm sure it's on my hard-drive somewhere and probably with an entirely different name. Although I didn't "consciously" rename, move or delete it... It just went away.

I hope I'm not using my computer in my sleep? Maybe I've got 'PC Parasomnia' ? :hehe

Anyway, I did wipe my hard-drives free space, so if it was there it's now gone for sure. ;)
