When GC was down I searched for some fractal software I used to have; Sterling2 and Tierazon and I've been playing with these and G'MIC.

erisian: these are all lovely! they look like they belong in a church somewhere, not just the one you put the stain glass effect on, but all of them. they look like they'd inspire thoughts and prayer.

Very cool Erisian. Did you use the 'Relief light' filter by chance ?
Some of your images looks like they have been processed with it.

Love the fractals...they have a kind of organised gothic look and feel to me.

They all look great, Erisian!
I like Apophysis 7X and ChaosPro, but I recently found Qosmic.

Relief light plays a big part in a lot of my filter work these days as does symmetrizoscope and these fractals are no exception. Thanks for the great filters.

Rod - excellent work. Tierazon is my favourite fractal generator.

Odin - Apophysis 7X and Chaos Pro are both excellent fractal generators but I haven't tried Quosmic yet. Thanks for the info.

Thank you everybody else. Your praise is overwhelming.

rod: fun! i really like the spiral ones.
erisian: the two last ones are breathtaking! they look like they could be 2d versions of one of pc:s mandelbulb worlds. and the last one looks like it could be the elaboratly decorated doors to a huge fantasy castle.

If you download Quosmic the readme file contains all the usage tips.

I downloaded Quosmic and had a look and it looks as difficult to master as Apophysis though with a lot of potential. I'll have a look at the read me file when I get home.
