A bit of logo testing. :)
This would make for a cool looking PhotoFont. :bigthup

Ronounours & co. : you made very nice addition to G'MIC. This is especially useful in certain kind of 3D heightmapping (image). This will ease up some texturing processes... Thank you!

After doing the render using Box Fitting, I did look up Cityscape renders so I can see Boxfitting would be perfect for light to height conversions. G'MIC has a preset built in and may try playing with it later. :)

OK; a bug in G'MIC. The preview's what I wanted but you can see the result is no where near. :)

Believe you need to use smaller images Lyle. That is if you want to render in G'MIC exactly as the preview.

That was it Rod. I had to reduce the size beyond what I wanted in order for the match. Not sure if this feature can be updated or not (say feature now and not bug; lol). :)

Cool stuff kimppi. Anyway, made first pass of box fitting, dupped, then ran it again (believe identical settings) and blended down to taste before running 3D elevation (G'MIC). :)

Wow these 2 last examples really rock :)
I'm currently working on an extension of this filter for generic shapes. Not sure I'll be to finish it at time, but I'll try!

That would be cool David. Triangles, trapezoids, rectangles and circles (and ovals; do I ask for too much? lol) would add to the citiscape capabilities. Just haven't figured out how to create windows yet (tried to add Lylejk's Painting afterwards earlier and, well, now, with fresh eyes, looks like a morass). lol
