on gimp 2.8.4:
it seems that function "translate-point" is missing (error while executing)
do you have it somewhere, Graechan? I don't...
I know about a very old drawing.scm which include this as well as many other drawing definitions, but at least in 2.8.4 is not applicable, it uses "car" without a pair (so it seems, if I include into the .scm set also drawing.scm I get an error on calling car)

i don't get any error messages, but nothing seems to be happening? i wonder if i've done something wrong - i just moved the script file to the script folder as usual and installed the font.

Thank you Conbagui for the inspiration.

I had black for the text layer but it didn't "take." I ran the script again saving layers and the black text layer ended up below the background. It's still pretty without the black text. Attaching the xcf file with the layers. No error messages from the script.

the new file works with no errors
(a personal opinion: why did you choose those defaults? running the scripts with the default values I get the attached image, which IMO is not very attractive...)

It looks like you don't have the lace brush, dinasset. You can get the instructions for making it here:

thanks Oregonian
did somebody create that brush so that I don't have to create it again following the tut?

edit: even if I'm not a script expert, by reading Graechan's script it seems that the brush is created inside the script itself, is it not so?

OK, I reset the filter and this is the default settings. The black text is sitting below the background when I save it as layers.
